Equinor's renewable business is growing rapidly, with a proven reputation as innovators in the offshore wind sector and a world leader in carbon capture and storage. Our ambition is to continue to grow through expansion into other renewable energy sources and markets as a leader in the field.
The renewable and low-carbon portfolio includes several projects/technologies that we have demonstrated a world-leading position in; these include floating offshore wind, HVDC Transmission Systems and the pioneering Humber Cluster, which will all contribute to Equinor's Net Zero targets.

As an intern, you’ll work on meaningful tasks within your chosen field whilst gaining a broad understanding of the energy sector and our role in the energy transition.

What projects or tasks could I work on?
By joining this position within Renewables and Low Carbon Solutions, interns will be participate in a common summer internship programme as well as offered technical challenges, tasks and/or group work within the following relevant competence area - you will be asked to indicate your preferred one(s) in the application:
- Electric Power Engineering (REN)
- Wind Turbine Engineering (REN)
- Strategy, Business Development & Commercial (REN)
- Data Analytics (REN)
- Early phase offshore wind opportunities analysis (REN)
- Business Development & Commercial (LCS)
- Finance, Economics and Energy (LCS)
By joining us as a summer intern you will have the opportunity to:
