We have concentrated on designing for user needs, prioritising the most important content and simplifying the structure. We have reduced the number of pages, focused on clear language, visual design and making it easy to find facts and figures. The new design works responsively across all platforms, tablets, mobiles and portables.
User expectations and needs have changed a lot since we launched our website after the merger in 2007. Our existing website has not had a significant upgrade since, and we needed a new website to serve you more effectively. Our new website will work on all platforms, ensure accessibility for all users and be cheaper to run.
The new website has been developed by in-house teams based in Oslo and Stavanger, Norway, in close partnership with Scandinavian Design Group in Oslo. Capgemini have provided technical development services, and the site is running on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
