New Energy Solutions

New Energy Solutions (NES) is a business area within Equinor that is responsible for developing the company’s new energy portfolio. This consists of renewable and other low-carbon energy solutions, like offshore wind, solar, carbon capture and storage.

Equinor now powers more than one million European homes with renewable offshore wind from four offshore wind farms in the United Kingdom and Germany. We are building material offshore wind clusters in the UK, the US North East and in the Baltics. Together with our partner SSE we are constructing the world’s biggest wind farm, Dogger Bank, in the North Sea.
