Oseberg contract to FMC Kongsberg Subsea

Norsk Hydro has today signed a contract with FMC Kongsberg Subsea for a subsea station to Oseberg Vestflanken. The contract has a value of approximately NOM 195 million.

The Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract is based on Hy-dros subsea frame agreement with  FMC Kongsberg Subsea from September 2000.

The Oseberg Vestflanken subsea station will be installed at a water depth of 108 meter, about 9 km north-west of the Oseberg Field Centre.

The subsea station consists of three production wells, located on a 4-slot template. Two production flowlines and one service umbilical will connect the subsea station to the Oseberg Field Centre.

Scope of work includes engineering, procurement and fabrication of the subsea station comprising: integrated foundation bottom structure, protection struc-tures and manifold, three cristmas trees with wellheads as well as associated production control systems and tie-in systems.
