Hunting for permanent chief executive

November 12, 2003, 00:50 CET

Executive search specialist Egon Zehnder has been commissioned by the Statoil board to find a permanent chief executive for the group.

This head-hunter company works world-wide, and the head office for its Nordic operations is located in Copenhagen.

Statoil’s board interviewed representatives from a large number of executive search companies before making its choice.

“We’ll expedite this matter as quickly as possible, but will also take the time we need to find the best possible chief executive for the group,” says chair Jannik Lindbæk.
