Keeping facilities fed – and clean

December 17, 2004, 09:30 CET

Two contracts worth a total of NOK 850 million have been awarded by Statoil to cover the supply of provisions and cleaning materials offshore and on land respectively.

Servicegrossistene will be responsible for supplying all installations operated by the group on the Norwegian continental shelf with the exception of Statfjord and Snorre.

Asko Rogaland has won the contract to deliver provisions and cleaning materials for most of Statoil’s canteens on land in Norway.

Worth NOK 474 million and NOK 384 million respectively, these jobs run from 1 March 2005 to 29 February 2008 with options for three one-year extensions.

“Unlike today’s contract, which covers both land and offshore, these jobs have now been split because that’s the most profitable solution,” says catering sector head Harry Ertresvaag.

Asko Rogaland holds the existing joint contract.
