A prize for the best investor relations among large Norwegian companies was awarded to Statoil at a Nordic IR conference in the Icelandic capital, Reykjavik, on 26 May.
The award was based on a survey of almost 200 players in the capital market conducted by IR Magazine.
“This is very gratifying and motivating for those of us who work with the market,” says Mari Thjømøe, senior vice president for IR at Statoil.
“New targets have been set by the group over the past year, and we’ve worked actively to communicate them.
“The prize is an acknowledgement of the good work devoted by our organisation to the IR programme. I’d also like to thank the players in the capital market for good support and a positive reception.”
