Norsk Hydro as operator for the gasfield Ormen Lange, is planning to put forward one single development plan (PIO) for the total export pipeline for Ormen Lange-gas from Aukra in Norway via Sleipner to Easington in the UK.
It will be submitted jointly with the development plan for the Ormen Lange field (PDO) in the fourth quarter of 2003.
Gas export in the southern part of the pipeline from the Sleipner installation to the UK is planned to start in 2006, and gas production starts from the Ormen Lange gas field in 2007.
Joint submission of development plans for the field and the pipelines will facilitate investment decisions in the whole project from reservoir to market.
