Åsgard B gets going again

April 27, 2001, 17:15 CEST

Gas production on Åsgard B in the Norwegian Sea will start up again today 27 April after being shut down following a minor fire this morning.

The fire turned out to be of only a limited extent with no consequences for further production.

The generator in the module where the fire occurred will not be started up again until the internal inquiry group has completed its work.
