Statoil has been ranked as the best oil and gas company in the world for sustainability by the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World).

āOnly a handful of oil and gas companies make it onto this list ā nine out of 79. So itās an extra bonus to be ranked as number one among these few.ā
Statoil had the same ranking last year, but has improved on the great majority of the underlying measurements since then.
āThe most gratifying aspect compared with 2004 is the finding that weāve become better at developing our personnel,ā says Mr Larsen.
