Northern Lights

Northern Lights er transport og lagringsdelen av Statens fullskala CO2-demonstrasjonsprosjekt. Northern Lights omfatter transport, mottak og permanent lagring av CO2 i et geologisk reservoar i nordlige del av Nordsjøen. Konsekvensutredningen omfatter et landanlegg for mottak, mellomlagring og eksport i Øygarden kommune i Hordaland, en rørledning og kontrollkabel til en injeksjonsbrønn, samt et geologisk reservoar for injeksjon og permanent lagring av CO2.
