Working from an external location

If you have received an equinor.com username, follow the steps below.
If you need to sign in with your own company email, go to https://affiliates.equinor.com

Step 1:
Set your first-time password at https://password.equinor.com

Step 2:
Activate your Microsoft Authenticator for Equinor by following the steps in this guide (It is recommended to view this page on your computer.)

Step 3:
If you do not have an Equinor laptop, visit https://connectit.equinor.com and sign in with your equinor.com username and password. Otherwise, you can now sign in to your Equinor laptop.

Note! Some applications on ConnectIT might require Citrix Workspace installed on your local machine, go to https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/

Please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Ensure your password is correct, you can go to password.equinor.com to reset your password.

• If you experience any issues with password.equinor.com, please contact your leader to confirm that your mobile number is registered correctly in SAP.

Step 2: You might need to configure Microsoft Authenticator by following the steps in this guide.

Step 3: If you are an external contractor, your account might be disabled because your access has expired. Contact your manager in the company you are employed at for further information.

Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.) "missing licence" message/how to apply for access:

1. Open the following link in a ConnectIT web browser (from the Apps menu in ConnectIT): accessit.equinor.com.
2. See this knowledge article on how to apply for the version relevant to you.

For licence or access issues with other applications:

1. Log in to Terminal Server
2. Launch a browser and go to AccessIT
3. Search and apply for the accesses you need (best practice guide)
