A telecommunications installer's job involves building and maintaining telecommunications networks, cable networks, satellite communications, computer networks, and mobile networks.

The key focus areas for telecommunications installation work will be planning, operation, and maintenance of telecommunications systems, such as:

  • Computer networks and facilities used to transmit radio and satellite communications
  • PAGA systems
  • UHF/VHF radio communications
  • Camera surveillance, access control, and security systems
  • Other electronic systems

What kind of person are we looking for?

As a telecommunications installer at Equinor, it's important that you're interested in the development of new technology. You’ll need to be proactive and be able to cooperate across disciplines. You should have normal colour vision and the ability and willingness to work at considerable heights. You should have a service mindset and be able to listen to the customer's wants and needs.
