     <p>The possible sale of 500 million cubic metres of gas per year for ammonia production at <a href="http://www.hydro.com/#%22%20TARGET=%22_top"><strong><u>Norsk Hydro</u></strong></a>'s complex in Herøya south of Oslo is currently under discussion.</p> 
     <p> <a href="http://www.hydro.no/%22%20TARGET=%22_top"></a>Hydro wants to reach agreement with the Norwegian Gas Negotiating Committee (GFU) so that deliveries can begin as soon as possible.</p> 
     <p>“Replacing the liquefied petroleum gases we currently use with natural gas will be cheaper,” says energy procurement manager Steinar Solheim in Hydro’s fertiliser business.</p> 
     <p>LPG is transported to Herøya by ship. Mr Solheim says that any natural gas sales deal will be based on laying a pipeline to the Grenland industrial region, which embraces Herøya.</p>
