A 50 per cent holding in Statoil’s Norferm subsidiary has been acquired by DuPont Bio-Based Materials to support the continued development of this company.

Norferm operates the world’s only methane-based bioprotein plant, and the partnership with DuPont will provide access to heavyweight expertise on biotechnology research.
