Eurest stays on Snorre

April 1, 2004, 15:50 CEST

A new catering services contract worth NOK 480 million, including options, has been awarded by operator Statoil to Eurest Support Services (ESS) for the Snorre A and B platforms in the North Sea.

This assignment is due to run for three years with options to renew for five one-year periods, reports senior coordinator Kathrine Horn Johnsen in the production support sector.

ESS will administer and provide catering and accommodation services on the two platforms, which it has been supplying since these installations came on stream in 1992 and 2001 respectively.

Statoil took over as operator on Snorre from Norsk Hydro on 1 January 2003.
