     <p>Statoil has agreed to be one of the principal partners for the new Royal League soccer competition being organised in Scandinavia.</p> 
     <p>This contest will embrace the four best men’s teams in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and Statoil’s deal with the organiser covers two years plus options to extend that period.</p> 
     <p>“We’ve collaborated with soccer bodies for a long time at both premiership and local level, and want to continue this,” says Oddvar Høie, marketing manager in the promotion and media unit.</p> 
     <p>The first round of the Royal League starts in November, with the quarter and semi-finals due to be played in the New Year and the final scheduled for 26 May.</p> 
     <p>This championship has been developed jointly by the national leagues and football federations in the three Scandinavian countries.</p>
