Hydro has awarded Kvaerner Oilfield Products AS an EPC contract for subsea systems to the Vilje tie-in project in the North Sea. The contract value is NOK 130 million.
The contract comprises two wellheads, subsea production trees, control system and protection structures for two satellite wells.
Vilje is located approximately 11 kilometers northwest of Heimdal at a sea depth of 120 meters.
It will be a subsea installation with two oil producers tied up to the Alvheim production installation 19 kilometers away.
Production start up is planned for February 2007.
