     <p>A five-year option worth about NOK 700 million with Eurest Support Services (ESS) has been exercised by Statoil for catering services on Statfjord.</p> 
     <p>Running from 1 April, the renewed contract covers administration and provision of kitchen and hotel operations for the A, B and C platforms on the North Sea field.</p> 
     <p>The option represents the first of three, each covering five years, incorporated in a contract originally awarded to ESS in 2000.</p> 
     <p>This company also provides catering services for Statoil’s nearby Snorre A and B platforms.</p>
