Participating in Russian oil show

Hydro is participating in the RAO, Russian Arctic Offshore, conference and exhibition in St. Petersburg, 13-15 September. It is the largest oil event in Russia and Hydro is a key sponsor together with Russian gas company Gazprom.

Hydro is contributing 11 speakers to the conference.

On the opening day Hydro's Shtokman project leader, Bengt Lie Hansen, will deliver a speech about how the company can assist Russia to develop its vast northern regions with the long-time offshore experience and acquired expertise on the Ormen Lange gas field development.

Russia's petroleum minister and a representative from Norway's Ministry of Petroleum & Energy will also speak on opening day.

Exciting stand

Petter Nore, head of Hydro's Russia office, will open the company's 75 square-meter stand at the exhibition. A virtual reality room showing examples from Ormen Lange are the main attraction.

On Wednesday evening Hydro will host a reception for guests together with Gazprom and Statoil.
