Equinor acquires leading Danish solar developer BeGreen
Equinor has signed an agreement to buy BeGreen, a leading solar project developer in North-West Europe. The acquisition strengthens Equinor’s capabilities and portfolio within solar PV.
Equinor and SSE Thermal acquire Triton Power and prepare for transition to hydrogen
Equinor and SSE Thermal are stepping up ambitions to contribute to decarbonisation in the UK. The companies are buying power company Triton Power from Energy Capital Partners (ECP), an energy-transition infrastructure investor, and are starting preparations to use hydrogen in the Saltend Power Station.
Equinor completes acquisition of interest in the Statfjord field
The acquisition of Spirit Energy’s interest in the Statfjord field was announced 8 December 2021 with a commercial effective date 1 January 2021.
