The first consignment of condensate through Statoil's Vestprosess pipeline in western Norway left the Kollsnes gas treatment plant on 10 October.
This batch will reach the group's Mongstad refinery complex north-west of Bergen on 12 October.
The new refinery facilities there for handling deliveries through Vestprosess was brought on stream with local supplies on 1 October.
That marks the completion of Statoil's share of this project, which was initiated in January 1998.
"It's a good feeling to have reaching the finishing post," says project director John Stangenes.
Vestprosess has embraced laying 54 kilometres of pipeline for natural gas liquids and condensate from Norsk Hydro's Sture crude oil terminal to Mongstad via Kollsnes.
NGLs from Hydro's Oseberg field are due to begin flowing through the new line on 1 December, reports Mr Stangenes.
The Mongstad end of the project includes a receiving facility for the pipeline, a fractionation plant for NGLs and a processing unit for liquefied petroleum gases.
In addition, two rock cavern stores, each measuring 60,000 cubic metres, to hold propane and butane have been completed and a new jetty has been constructed.
All these facilities have been built on schedule and within budget.
