Finance market representatives convened at Hydro's offices in Bergen on Tuesday for a two-day long seminar to be briefed and updated about Oil & Energy's business operations.
The intention behind this business area arrangement is to provide the financial and investor community with a deeper insight into, and better understanding of, Hydro's strategy and competitive advantage. Oil & Energy business unit heads will present their areas at the seminar.
One of the most eagerly anticipated topics will be Hydro's intentions regarding the purchase of oil reserves.
"We want to explain the principles by which we work when it comes to buying proven resources," says Kjetil Bakken of Hydro's Corporate Investor Relations department.
