Long-term financial focus

  • We provide our employees with an opportunity to join our share savings plan, where we match their contributions with additional shares.
  • In most of our locations we offer pension arrangements aiming to safeguard our employees after retirement.

A values-based framework

Our values are the foundation of everything we do. We aim to recognise and reward performance equally, based both on the results you deliver and how these results are achieved. We believe this approach fosters an inclusive workplace and lets creativity and collaboration thrive.

We connect our bonus payments to company performance to strengthen a shared interest in the development of a sustainable and competitive company.

Our policy on home office and flexible working

The pandemic changed our working lives for ever, and we know that flexible working has become essential to many people. Depending on your particular role and location, Equinor tries to accommodate home office and flexible working hours wherever possible.

We know that many of our employees value the freedom offered by flexible working, enabling them to enjoy a varied work schedule and enhance their productivity.

Although not all positions and locations in Equinor are suitable for flexible working or home office, we are proud to offer a range of policies that are beneficial to your work-life balance, many of them inspired by the progressive Nordic approach.

They include flexible hours, telecommuting, hybrid/home office and remote working, as well as paid parental leave for employees starting a family. We’ve raised our commitment to family-friendly policies across many countries and have a range of local flexibility models to improve work/life balance.

We regularly review our programmes and policies to ensure we position ourselves competitively and support the needs of our colleagues.
