If you are a student considering a career in Equinor or the energy industry, our summer internships give you the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a changing world.

Our summer intern programme lasts for seven weeks and gives you a fast-track introduction to some of Equinor’s operations in renewables, low carbon solutions and oil and gas. You’ll also gain insights into our strategy for the future.

What disciplines do we offer?

In Equinor, we have around 25,000 employees working in a range of disciplines. Whether you are studying engineering, technology, sciences, digital, or corporate and business management, the chances are we will have an opportunity that will suit your education and experience.

What should you expect from your time with us?

You will join us on a seven-week programme designed to give you useful experience and skills you may need in your studies and future career.

You will spend most of your internship working on tasks and projects within the discipline you have applied for, giving you first-hand experience of your team's strategy, processes, and culture. Your leader will be your main point of contact, ensuring that you get the most out of your time with us, and you will also be supported by other colleagues in your team.

Our internship is office based, but you will have the possibility to work from home if agreed with your leader.

Learning and development
You will also participate in a series of engaging learning sessions aimed at enhancing your skills and knowledge. These sessions will give you an overview of our business, processes, and strategies, providing you with a deeper understanding of Equinor and the energy industry. You will also attend sessions covering topics such as phycological safety, career development, and unconscious bias. These learning opportunities are designed to support your personal growth and prepare you for a successful future career.
