To reach the goal of net zero by 2050 we need technology and solutions that does not yet exist. Equinor and Techstars Energy Accelerator is a mentor-led program that supports startups and companies on their journey to reduce the world’s emissions and shape the energy transition.

The climate crisis and the energy transition are a global challenge. Managing this transition is the biggest test for humanity - and also the biggest test for Norway and companies like Equinor. Technology and innovation will play an important role in achieving the goal of net zero in 2050.

13 weeks, 9 startups, over 100 mentors

The Equinor & Techstars Energy Accelerator program is a 13-week mentorship-driven program for international founders who are shaping and serving the energy sector.

This spring, nine startups from different industries across the world will be attending the program in Oslo, receiving mentoring and professional guidance, in order to further develop their ideas.

A pool of more than 100 mentors from different industries and companies, including Equinor, will be available for the startups during this period.

This is the fifth time The Equinor & Techstars Energy Accelerator program is being kicked off. The program offers a unique opportunity to support the best ideas in the energy industry to help accelerate the innovation needed to drive the energy transition.
