Equinor has completed its internal investigation into an incident on 29 October 2025, in which personnel at Mongstad were exposed to chemicals. The incident occurred during work on a measuring instrument. A number of measures have been implemented to capture lessons learned.

Equinor has started the drilling phase for the Raia project in the pre salt of the Campos Basin, Brazil. This marks a key milestone for the partnership as the projects progresses towards planned start up in 2028.

Equinor has acquired the ready to build 230 MW Esquina do Vento onshore wind complex from Vestas. With this investment Equinor expands its broad energy offering in Brazil, further strengthening its integrated power portfolio for long-term growth in one of the company’s core markets.
