Equinor takes a new step in the power business with the launch of its first hybrid power complex that combines solar and wind resources.

Equinor has made two new discoveries of gas and condensate in the Sleipner area of the North Sea. These are Equinor’s largest discoveries so far this year and can be developed for the European market through existing infrastructure.

On 2 December production started from the Verdande subsea field in the Norwegian Sea. The field is tied back to the Norne FPSO. With reserves of 36 million barrels of oil, Verdande helps extend Norne’s production beyond 2030.
