We are an international energy company, headquartered in Stavanger, Norway and present in about 30 countries around the world. Our portfolio encompasses oil & gas, renewable energy, hydrogen and low carbon solutions, spanning five continents across the globe.

Equinor in Europe

As the single largest supplier of energy to Europe, our deliveries of oil, gas and wind power provide a vital and stabilising contribution to Europe’s energy security.

We continue to develop a broad portfolio of projects and believe our energy sources and solutions will contribute to decarbonising Europe while ensuring the continuity of energy supplies and transitioning away from solid fossil fuels.

North and South America

Equinor is the fifth largest producer of oil and gas in the US Gulf of Mexico and our US onshore operations are the largest outside Norway.

We have also quickly become a leader in America’s growing offshore wind industry. Today we have projects under development on both the East and West coasts, and we see even greater potential in renewables and offshore wind in the US.

In Canada, one of the most resource-rich countries in the world, we are an active player. Our East Coast Canada assets are a high priority within our global portfolio, and we operate numerous discoveries in the Flemish Pass basin as well as partnering in two developments.

Besides oil and gas assets, we are expanding our investments into renewable energies. We are also present in Argentina, where we participate in exploration licences on and offshore.

Africa

We are actively engaged in the energy sector in Africa, largely focusing on exploration and production activities.

Equinor has a presence in Algeria, Angola, Libya, Nigeria and Tanzania, where we are engaged in onshore and offshore oil and gas projects aimed at leveraging the continent’s significant hydrocarbon resources, while providing essential energy to society.

Asia-Pacific

Our activities in Asia-Pacific primarily involve exploration and production of oil and gas, with significant operations in countries such as Indonesia and Vietnam.

We are also engaged in renewable energy projects, particularly offshore wind developments, reflecting our strategic commitment to sustainable energy solutions in the region.
